Corporate Workshops

Story Studio corporate workshops demystify the storytelling process and provide a forum for employees to become clear, confident, engaging communicators.

During a typical workshop, participants will learn how to strip an idea to its core, and communicate that idea in a way that is concrete and emotionally resonant.

All Story Studio corporate workshop participants will leave with a polished 3-6 minute story they can use in their work. Using techniques adapted from improv, classic storytelling and sketch comedy, participants learn how to craft a story that their audience will remember long after they have gone.

Why corporate workshops?

Our corporate workshops are customized to meet your company’s needs. In the weeks leading up to the event, instructor Kevin Allison will work with you to understand your company’s needs. From there, we’re able to design a custom package with all the details leading up to the event.

How long do the corporate workshops run?

Anywhere from 2-10 hours. It depends on the client. We’ve found that 4 hours (half a day) is the most popular for most companies.

What are some types of workshops you’ve designed in the past?

Topics that we’ve customized in the past include, but are not limited to: classic storytelling, public speaking, improv storytelling, product launch narratives, personal anecdotes for business networking, descriptions of your company’s business model and methods for building rapport with new clients.
